In the Baldi's Basics series, hallways are long, rectangular passageways that link rooms to one another.
Every room has a door leading to a hallway. The class door texture is present on all doors leading to halls. Faculty doors go to faculty rooms, class doors lead to classes, and in the Principal's office, a supplies door leads to Gotta Sweep's closet. Swinging doors may be shut using a swinging door lock to keep anything from passing through them, including the player, and can lead to the majority of unique destinations and neighboring halls.
Hallways have colorful lockers, plenty of posters on the wall, and some potted plants on floor 1. Additionally, hallways also have distinct textures made for them (apart from Endless Mode - Medium and Challenge).

In this area, objects can move freely. It will take a lot of time for the player to move from room to room in the hallway. Occasionally, It's a Bully will block a hallway. He will only move if the player gives him anything from their inventory, if he is captured and detained by the Principal of the Thing, or if he stays in one place for more than three minutes.
Once in a while, Gotta Sweep will walk down the hallway, pushing people around, but It's a Bully gets out of his way. Players will be pushed down immediately if they come into contact with the First Prize.
The Principal of Thing's questions all involve actions taking place “in the hall”.
