Overview
General
Baldi's Basics Kickstarter Exclusive Demo is the demo version of the game only available to the Kickstarter backers of Baldi's Basics Plus who have donated $30 or more. Another demo, titled Baldi's Basics Full Game Early Demo, was made available to the public on August 12th, 2019, but was removed due to being outdated since V0.3 of Baldi's Basics Plus.
The release date of the demo was pushed back twice. During the release of Baldi's Basics Full Game Early Demo, the creator stated that the Kickstarter Exclusive Demo would be available around September 2019 and then around October 2019. Even though the game was finally released to backers on November 2nd, 2019, the downloaded codes weren't distributed to them all due to not sending the survey beforehand.
Features
In comparison to the Baldi's Basics Full Game Early Demo, the Baldi's Basics Kickstarter Exclusive Demo offers these additional features:
- 3 randomly-generated levels
- 1 additional random event: Mystery Room
- New structures; V1.2 introduced number balloons, water fountains, and Baldi's Math Machines.
- A new field trip: Farm
- 3 new items: Dirty Chalk Eraser, Faculty Nametag, and Principal Whistle
- 4 new characters: Chalkles, Cloudy Copter, Beans, and Mrs. Pomp (the latter two were introduced in V1.2).
- A new mode: Free Run
- A special location inside the school: the Library
Another field trip was planned to be added to the game, but it was ultimately cancelled due to not having enough time for implementation. This field trip was later supposed to be in V0.2 of Baldi's Basics Plus but it was delayed and would be available in a future update.

Trivia
- Baldi's Basics Kickstarter Exclusive Demo is the first game to feature an anti-piracy element. If the player tries to access the pirated copy of the demo, a different screen showing a Baldi-like creature will appear.
- This is the only demo game to not have been removed so far in the Baldi's Basics series.
- The game's script is in IL2CPP, making it hard to modify the code.
