Madness Lab is a hybrid of arcade runner and minigame, where you control strange hybrid creatures (like bees, bears, turtles, rabbits, etc.). Doctor Doom, a mad scientist, is testing potential minions to find out which one will serve him best. You need to change your strategy as you move as each room is different and challenges you in different ways.
In Madness Lab, each creature has a unique appearance and sometimes has its own abilities. You may need to tap to jump across tight vertical gaps, hold to swim through underwater areas, or tap continuously to stay balanced in the air.
The speed and difficulty both increase over time. Countless rooms appear at the same time, each with its own unique control. Agility, flexibility, and memory are key. You run through rooms, collecting coins as you go. With these coins, you can buy better stats, skins, and powers for your creatures, as well as unlock new ones.
Before entering each room, you will usually see a brief tutorial or hint. Take it easy and follow these hints. Instead of trying to use all the actions at once, focus on tapping, holding, or swiping in each room.
The mini-games in each room will determine the controls, which can be tapping, holding, swiping, or a combination of both.
Collecting coins throughout the round will give you access to more animals and allow you to upgrade their appearance, stats, or performance.
If you encounter obstacles, miss the entry time, or do not complete the required actions, you will be eliminated from the room. Just one failure and you will start over.
